Frequently Asked Questions

Vault Selection

Big DEBASE vs Smol DEBASE. Which one should I go for?

If you've got the cash, go for Big DEBASE. You'll need to deposit an equal amount of both $DEBASE and $ETH, whereas Smol DEBASE only requires $DEBASE.

Lock Period

Will putting in more money increase the length of my lock period?

Yes, it will reset the timer for withdrawal, so it is advised for participants to deposit with multiple wallets to curb this.

Will making a claim extend my lock period?

It will reset the timer for another 24 hours.

Rewards and Debase

Do the rewards in the vaults get debased too?

They will only get debased after claim.

Can the reward rate change in the future?

Yes. The dev might adjust the rewards, but it has to be processed through a timelock, so stay tuned for any announcements.

Token Value and Debase

Will the value of DEBASE go up or down due to the debase?

If no one is selling, then the value of DEBASE will remain flat even if there is debase and supply decreases. How come this is true? Remember DEBASE in LP also gets debased which means that there will be less DEBASE but same amount of ETH. The debase of your DEBASE is directly proportional to the total supply debase. For example, if the total supply is 1000 DEBASE and you have 100 DEBASE, if the total supply becomes 100 DEBASE, your 100 DEBASE will become 10 DEBASE.

Example Scenario (assuming no rewards):

Initial State:
- Total supply: 100 DEBASE
- 20 DEBASE in LP paired with 20 ETH
- 1 DEBASE = 1 ETH
- 80 DEBASE staked in Smol DEBASE vault

After 50% Supply Debase:
- Total supply: 50 DEBASE
- 10 DEBASE in LP paired with 20 ETH
- 1 DEBASE = 2 ETH (now worth more in ETH)
- 40 DEBASE staked in Smol DEBASE vault

Should I stake or skip it?

Stake away! If you do, you'll earn $DEBASE that will only be debased after you claim. The debased $DEBASE will still keep their value, since the total supply will also be debased 1:1.
